Thrissur: After a lull, the dispute over wide releasing of Malayalam films has erupted again among the filmmakers' outfits.
The Exhibitors Federation on Friday prohibited 'Ganam' Theatre at Valarkav in Thrissur from releasing Jayaram-starrer 'Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare'.
Following this, the theatre was closed. The film distributors' outfit has come out against the Exhibitors' Federation's move.
However, the film is running in other theatres across the state.
The dispute over releasing films in theatres of various standards has been prevailing among the outfits for sometime now.
