Ever since news of Mohanlal teaming up with Priyadarshan for a movie hit the headlines, the audience are keen to know more about the project.
According to the latest update, Tamil actress Sanchita Shetty will play the female in the movie tentatively titled Oppam.
Sanchita Shetty, who has appeared in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu films rose to stardom after starring in Soodhu Kavvum and Pizza II.
Confirming the news, director Priyadarshan said, “Sanchita Shetty has been roped in to play the female lead in the film. The movie is a crime thriller and focuses on the character of Mohanlal who is playing role of a blind man in this film.”
Priyadarshan also said that the film will go on floors by February 20.
