It might be for the first time that a grandmother becomes the lead player in a movie. Jude Anthony Joseph is on an experimental mode with his upcoming movie Oru Muthassi Gadha, and the trailer that released online on Monday proves it.
The one minute forty-nine seconds video opens with a random conversation between actor Aju Varghese and veteran star KTS Padannayil talking about 'new-gen' malayalam movies that are focusing more on fresh faces, giving least preference to older characters. And Aju Varghese tells him about Oru Muthassi Gadha and shows the trailer.
The trailer, as expected, is hilarious featuring many stars including Suraj Venjaramood, Lena, Renji Panicker and Vijayraghavan and the stars are facing one big problem – a grandmother.
The movie looks every bit a fun-filled family entertainer for the Onam season. It is also the second venture of Jude after the superhit Om Shaanti Oshaana, which had Nazriya Nazim and Nivin Pauly in lead roles.
