Rajinikanth's much-awaited Enthiran 2 began shooting on Wednesday in Chennai.
Director Shankar himself took to Twitter to share the news.

Rajinikanth will join the team only by January or February, as he is currently working for his forthcoming film Kabali.
As the month of Margazhi begins on Wednesday according to the Tamil calendar the makers have chosen to begin shooting on the auspicious day.
Sources suggest that apart from Enthiran 2, Vikram-Anand Shankar film and Baahubali 2 too will go on floors on this day.
