Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira were blessed with a daughter on August 28 this year.
Since then, fans and well wishers were eager to know what the name of the baby girl would be.
Reportedly, the parents recently flew to Amritsar to seek blessings from the Guru of the religious group they follow and also seek advice from him for naming the daughter.
And now, the baby finally has a name!
Shahid and Mira have named their daughter Misha, which is a combination of letters from their own names.
On Monday morning, Shahid took to Twitter and made the announcement:
The name sounds cute, and fans are obviously convinced that the baby also looks cute like her parents as we too are waiting to get a glimpse of the baby.
On work front, Shahid Kapoor will be soon seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon, co-starring Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan.
