Kochi: The audio launch of the upcoming anthology of short films, Aana Mayil Ottakam was held in Kochi at Ernakulam Press Club on Thursday. Muzik247, the prominent music label in the Malayalam film industry is the official music partner.
Actor Arjun Lal, who was the special guest, launched the audio by handing over the Launch CD to Muzik247's Head Of Operations, Syed Zameer in the presence of movie's directors - Jayakrishna and Anil Sign, Music composers - Saji Raam, Rakesh Kesavan and Syam Ramesh, Actor Sharan and other film crew.
The movie features three tracks which are composed by Saji Raam, Syam Ramesh and Rakesh Keshavan, and written by Girish K Karunakaran, Anil Sign, and Rakesh Kesavan. They are sung by P. Jayachandran, Yasin Nizar, O.U.Basheer, Nimisha Murali and Reshma Johny.
The first track, Varinellin Padath is sung by P.Jayachandran. It has a repeat version which is sung by Nimisha Murali. Music is by Saji Raam to the lyrics of Girish K Karunakaran.
The second track, Akale is sung by O U Basheer and Reshma Johny. It has a solo version as well which is sung by O U Basheer. Music is by Syam Ramesh to the lyrics of Anil Sign.
The third track, Orupidi Swapnagalthan is sung by Yasin Nizar. Both the music and lyrics are by Rakesh Kesavan.
Aana Mayil Ottakam is an anthology of three short films written and directed by Jayakrishna and Anil Sign, who are making their debut in the Malayalam film industry.
Midhun Murali, Balu Varghese, Sharan, Indrans, Sunil Sukhada, Santhosh Keezhaattoor, Kalabhavan Haneef, Chembil Ashokan, Vinod Kedamangalam, Sajad Bright, Gopalakrishnan, Shivan, Rajeev Rajan, Netra, Reena, Divya, Seema G Nair, Remya along with child artistes - Aakash, Jugru, Sidharth, Meenakshi make the ensemble cast. Cinematography is by Anish Babu Abbas and editing is by Hemanth K Harshan and Jovin John.
Produced by Raimtol Jose under banner of M.J. Movies, the movie is scheduled to release on November 20th.
