The first song video from director Abrid Shine’s campus movie Poomaram is winning accolades all over. The breezy song, composed and sung by Faisal Razi and shot on Kalidas Jayaram and gang at the renowned Maharaja’s College campus in Kochi, made us all smile for its lovely tune and simplicity.
Within a day, the video song garnered more than 5 lakh views and 17,000+ likes on YouTube. It is currently at the 7th position on YouTube India's 'Trending' list.

Written and directed by Abrid Shine, Poomaram marks the lead actor debut of Kalidas Jayaram, son of actor couple Jayaram and Parvathy, in Malayalam cinema.
Meera Jasmine and Kunchacko Boban are also playing important roles in the film.
The cinematography is handled by Gnanam whereas the editing is done by Jith Joshie.
The song was released online by Muzik247, the official music label of Poomaram.
Produced by Dr Paul Varghese and Abrid Shine under the banner of Lime Light Cinemas, Poomaram is scheduled to release in February 2017.
