Kalidas Jayaram shares his favourite moment from last year's trip to Idukki

Travellers have been posting pictures and videos from the various locations they had been to, on the social media, amid the lockdown. Celebrities too have chipped in with old pictures and videos of their trips to their favourite places. Some have posted pictures they had taken at Italy, lamenting the sad plight of the European country which is one of the worst hit.

Young actor Kalidas Jayaram is the latest celebrity to reminisce about one of his old trips on his Instagram page.

Kalidas has posted a video in which he is seen enjoying the beautiful waterfalls in the serene countryside of Pachakanam in Idukki. “Miss being outdoors.. this was a trip that I went last year.. I really hope everything comes back to normal soon,” the actor wrote. He wishes everyone to stay safe as well.

Many were hoping to take a break and go on trips during the holiday season. However, the corona virus outbreak and the subsequent lockdown had toppled their plans. Families had made all the bookings for their annual vacation. Those who are working in the tourism sector say that almost all bookings have been cancelled. The travellers hope to explore new destinations once the world recovers from the corona virus pandemic and the lockdowns are lifted.
