Manoramaonline wins IFFK award for online reporting

Thiruvananthapuram: Manoramaonline bagged the Media Award for the best online reporting at the 20th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) here on Friday.

Kerala Talkies, the bilingual IFFK website, helped Manoramaonline win the award for a third time.

Manoramaonline Content Producer Ramesh K., Assistant Content Producers Arathi Kannan and Ramesh Chandran K.P. received the award from Governor P. Sathasivam.

Kerala Talkies not only featured IFFK related news, interviews, movie reviews, videos and picture galleries, but also gave previews and top 5 must watch movies of each day.

Other awards

The awards for best print reporting went to Mathrubhumi reporter N.P. Murakeekrishnan and Kerala Kaumudi chief reporter Kovalam Satheeshkumar won a Special Jury award.

Asianet News reporter Lekshmi Padma won for Visual Media reporting, while Doordarshan News reporter Sam Kadamanitta earned a special mention.

The Radio Awards for reporting went to All India Radio Thiruvananthapuram and Club FM.
