Delhi: Iain Hume's hat-trick helped Kerala Blasters beat Delhi Dynamos 3-1 in their ISL match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, here on Wednesday.

Blasters forward Iain Hume drew the first blood in the 12th minute from a great assist by Courage Pekuson. It was Hume's first goal of the season.

In the 40th minute, Kerala's Dimitar Berbatov was forced off due to a hamstring injury and Mark Sifneos came on as a substitute.

Delhi Dynamos defender Pritam Kotal equalized in the 42nd minute from a free kick by Romeo Fernandez. Kotal was left unmarked in the goal area.

Just before half-time, Delhi keeper Xabier Iruetaguena pulled out due to an injury and was replaced by Arnab Das Sharma.

After the break, things were on an even keel till Iain Hume decided to bump things up a notch.

He added one more to his first-half goal in the 66th minute and then, just for good measure, capped it off with a third one in exquisite fashion.

Delhi could not penetrate the Kerala backline as the two center backs, Sandesh Jhingan and Wes Brown, were on top of their game.

With this win Blasters move to the sixth spot on the league standings with 11 points in their kitty.

Delhi Dynamos' misery continues as they are cemented at the bottom of the table with just four points from nine games.
