21 pretty girls, one target: Miss Millennial set to thrill Kochi

The pageant, organized by Manorama Online and Joy Alukkas, promises to be a test of beauty and brain.

Kochi: As many as 21 pretty girls from across Kerala are busy preparing for the final round of the Miss Millennial beauty contest in Kochi.The pageant, organized by Manorama Online and Joy Alukkas, promises to be a test of beauty and brain.

The participants are being groomed for ramp walk, meditation, personality development, presentation style, choreography, beauty care, photo shoot and talent rounds. The grooming sessions will go on for five days.

Choreographer Jude Felix, Yoga expert Nootan Manohar, couture expert Shalini James, Joshna Chittilappilly and Fathima Niloufer are leading the grooming sessions. South Indian star Tamannaah will crown the Miss Millennial in Kochi on September 23. 

Aswathi Harikumar, Namitha Navakumar, Rini Babu, Meenakshi R, Nayantara M, Maria Francis, Aiswarya Adukadan, Vaishnavi Mahesh, Anushka Jayaraj, Nazly Mirza Hussain, Aleena Abraham, Merlin Susan Ani, Cynda Percy, Dr Monisha Kailasamangalam, Anjali Prasad, Deepa Thomas, Eshaa Ranjan, Melin Sunny, Archana Ravi, Nitya Elsa Cherian and Hashna M are the participants who made it to the final round.

Though thousands of candidates had registered for the pageant on the website, the participants in the final round were selected from among 75 girls. 

The winner of the pageant will take home Rs 1 lakh and other prizes. The runner-up will receive Rs 50,000 and the second runner-up Rs 25,000. Vivo Miss Multimedia, Hair Fair Miss Beautiful Hair, Hair Fair Miss Beautiful Skin, Manorama Online Miss Photogenic and Federal Bank Miss Talent titles also await claimants.

The jury consists of fashion personalities. Federal Bank is a co-sponsor, while Vivo is the mobile partner and Hair Fair the hair and skin partner.
