While the Grammy show awarded a handful of winners, including those for the top categories of the night, much of the show was dedicated to dynamic outfits of the industry's biggest stars.
There were a lot of standout outfits at the Grammys this year, but Madonna’s bottom-scrunchie affair may safely be described as the most gasp-worthy.
White and black were the favored choices among many of pop's leading ladies, including Gwen Stefani in a black mesh Versace jumpsuit, Ariana Grande in a white and silver one-shouldered Versace dress and Katy Perry in a white sheer fitted Zuhair Murad number teamed with lilac hair.
Pops of color came from Swift, who opted for a full-skirted leg-baring turquoise Elie Saab gown, and Rihanna, who wore a billowing, layered pink Giambattista Valli dress.
The shy and quirky singer-songwriter Sia wore a black high-collared dress with leggings and an oversized white wig covering her face, accompanied by teen dancer Maddie Ziegler, the star of her "Chandelier" video, dressed as her mini-me.
Miley Cyrus pulled off the black Alex Vauthier Spring 2015 Couture gown with grace. Although the cut-out number required Cyrus to ditch her underwear, she avoided a wardrobe malfunction and looked relatively normal as she managed to keep her assets hidden.
Ora, who stunned last year in a short, metallic Lavin dress, stepped out in a flashy, sequined, floor-length gown with long sleeves and a turtleneck. Sporting a new, pixy haircut, plum lip and smoky eyes to the max, Ora accessorized with silver ear cuffs and a metallic clutch.
Metallics were a big thing on as Lady Gaga made her way on the carpet and made sure that all eyes were on her.
Charli XCX wore a ruffled menswear situation—the Ken tuxedo of Jeremy Scott’s Barbie collection.
Madonna wore a custom made Givenchy corset. She flashed her ample bosom, and then when she showed her thong clad derrière, we flinched. Later, she channeled her inner matador in a red dress during the performance.
Joy Villa. Have you heard that name before? No, we are not surprised too. But after tonight, she joins our list of one of the boldest stars- and one of the weirdest dresses we saw on the Grammy red carpet ever. Her dress designed by Andre Soriano was made of fencing material and the girl had a hat to match. She was strategically covered with nipple pasties and nude underwear.
No doubt it was a glorious night at Grammys!
