Astral projection claims fall flat: 'disheartened' Cadell plotted his family's murder

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala police probing the Nanthancode killings suspect that the Cadell Jeansen Raja had been plotting the murder of his family for the past many months.

The sole suspect in the case, Cadell, had earlier told the police that he sacrificed his family for devil worship and he was attempting a technique called as 'astral projection.' However, the police have reused to buy this statement on satanic worship and have concluded that he was merely trying to mislead the police. During questioning, Cadell had showed signs of delusion and confused the probe team with contrary statements.

The cops suspect that Cadell was disheartened after being constantly neglected by his family.

He clearly planned out on how to carry out the murders and destroy the evidence.

The police say that he killed his family members one by one. The crime in the well-educated family came to light on April 9 morning when local people alerted the police after they saw smoke emanating from the house. Cadell's mother is a retired cardiologist, father a former history professor and sister was doing MBBS in China.
