Ubeesh was again admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital on Tuesday after he showed symptoms of Nipah infection. After Nipah was confirmed, relatives and friends of the couple are worried over their safety. Following Shijitha’s death, a fever detection survey was carried out by the health department and Thennala grama panchayat in all the 17 wards of the panchayat. Though as many as 236 fever cases were found, health department officials said that there was no need to worry.
