Kottayam: In a turning point in the probe into the attack on actress, ADGP B. Sandhya said that a crucial information passed on to the police by a common man has helped them in the course of the investigation. The investigation team has not revealed the identity of the person.
The person had informed the police about a conversation he had overheard about the actress attack case and this information helped them approach the case in a better way, the ADGP said.
She also said that the investigation process would be affected if the attacked actress talks to the media. “It is not the right time to inform whether there was any conspiracy behind the attack”, said Sandhya during the inauguration of a program to implement the Jan Maitri initiative at all police stations in the district.

No personal enmity against actress: Pulsar Suni
The actress was abducted and harassed inside a moving car for two hours by Pulsar Suni and his aide, who had forced their way into the vehicle on the night of February 17 and later escaped in a busy area in Kochi. The accused were arrested from the premises of a court in Ernakulam.
