Thiruvananthapuram,: Senior journalist and managing director of 'Kairali TV' John Brittas was on Wednesday appointed media advisor to Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
A decision to appoint Brittas as media advisor without salary was taken at a cabinet meeting held here, an official release said.
Senior lawyer M.K. Damodaran was made legal advisor without salary, the release said.
Senior IAS officer V.J. Kurian has been appointed additional chief secretary in Water Resources department and also would hold the additional charge of coastal shipping, Inland Navigation and Inter-state water Cell, the release said.
