Thiruvananthapuram: The cooperative milk marketing federation of the state, Milma, is all set to hike the price of its packet milk by Rs 4 per liter.
A cabinet meeting held here Thursday has agreed to sanction the price hike following recommendations by Milma.
Out of the hiked amount, Rs 3.35 will go to the farmer. The final decision was taken at a board meeting of Milma.
The revised price will be effective from Saturday.
