No parole for convicts in TP Chandrasekharan murder case

Thrissur: A panel of the Kerala police has rejected a plea for parole filed by four convicts in T.P. Chandrasekharan murder case.

Kodi Suni, Kirmani Manoj, T.K. Rajeesh, and Shafi had applied for parole. While rejecting the application, an advisory panel headed by the DGP (jail), made it clear that those convicted in political murder cases could not be granted parole.

The four convicts applied for parole despite the police norm that more than one convict in a case should not be granted parole at the same time.
