Media company introduces first day off for women on period | Video

Culture Machine, a Mumbai-based media company, has introduced a 'First Day of Period Leave' policy.

The company, which owns digital channels like 'being Indian' and 'put chutney,' has around 75 women employees, according to reports.

In a video, women from the organization share their experience of first day of periods.

In countries like Japan, Italy and South Korea, menstrual leave is a part of the leave policy.
