Kochi: After the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) formed a committee Thursday to probe charges of indiscipline against star player Sanju Sasmson, his father Samson Viswanath jumped to the defense of his son.
Samson told Manorama News that Sanju did not behave rudely in the dressing room as reported by a section of the media.

“Don't know what wrong Sanju has done. All he did was throw the bat away after getting out for a duck. It was only a natural reaction as he was disappointed with himself,” said Samson.
He also pointed that the KCA did not the incur the expenses of Sanju's medical bill. “Sanju had undergone MRI scans on both knees and had informed the KCA about it. I feel those at the helm of KCA are unaware of this. I am sure had they known it they wouldn't have slapped a show-cause notice on him.”
Samson was quick to add that Sanju has always given his best for the Kerala team. “The KCA should also realize it,” he said.
