Renowned celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar recently shared some tips on what to eat for strong, healthy hair.
According to Rujuta, extreme dieting can result in hair loss. She says whatever is good for our body's health is also best for hair health.
Rujuta recommends having rice once a day for hair health.
Include seasonal fruits like guava, gooseberries and mango to get hair with good colour, density and strength.
Pulses and legumes like green gram, pigeon pea, and black-eyed peas can provide the amino acids, Vitamin B, and fibre required for hair health.
Have seeds like halim and aliv in their original form, as laddus or kheer. Avoid having them as shots in water.
Oil your hair once a week and comb it regularly.
Avoid chemical treatments as they can stress your hair.
