A 50-acre flower field in the Venice of the East offers you the perfect 'Onam mood'
The vibrant spread ranges from marigolds (bandhi) to five types of globe amaranth (vadamulla), creating a floral spectacle for visitors
Visitors can check them out from 6 am to 6 pm. Nominal fees are charged for photoshoots
The field, part of 'Thiruvizhesan Krishi Koottam' in Cherthala, is known best as 'Thiruvizha Devaswom-vaka paadam'
To reach the spot, take this route: Cherthala 11th mile - Arthunkal - Railway Cross - take a left, then right. It's on the left side of Thiruvizha Railway Station.
