India's first metro-style public transport on water, Kochi Water Metro, will be part of this year's Republic Day parade.
Kochi Water Metro will be showcased as a symbol of Atmanirbhar Bharat - Atmanirbhar Kerala.
It will be featured in the tableau along with Kerala's 100% digital literacy achievement.
Recently, the metro set a new single-day record of 17,058 riders.
The metro will soon be extended to Kadamakkudy, Edakochi and Thoppumpady as well.
