The five-day Sindhu Kumbh festival, also known as Sindhu Mahakumbh, has begun in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
It is held at Sindhu Ghat in the village of Shey, just about 10 km from Leh.
Devotees from across regions bring water from various rivers to immerse them in the Sindhu.
The festival is on till June 27 and has the theme 'One India, Shreshtha Bharat.'
