June 12 Kerala entrance exam postponed, new date later

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Engineering-Pharmacy entrance examination, which was scheduled to be held on June 12, has been postponed. The revised date will be announced later.

Malayala Manorama had last week reported that several students were in a spot as the date of the Kerala entrance clashed with two other national-level entrance exams — NATA and HSEE.

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is conducted for those seeking admission to undergraduate programmes in architecture (BArch). The first NATA test is on June 12, while the other two tests are on July 3 and 24.

The Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination (HSEE) conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, is also on June 12.

A lot of candidates, who will be appearing for the Kerala entrance, are slated to write the NATA as well. The number of HSEE candidates, though not as many as for NATA, is also substantial.
