Higher secondary equivalency exams from May 20 to 25

Thiruvananthapuram: The first- and second-year higher secondary equivalency examinations and the second-year supplementary exam of the same will be held from May 20 to 25.

The examination fee for regular candidates not availing practicals is Rs 600 for the first and second years. It is Rs 700 for those availing practicals in the second year. The fee is Rs 500 each for a supplementary paper.

The fee for the first-year certificate is Rs 100, and Rs 150 for the second year (including migration). It is Rs 100 for candidates taking Supplementary examinations.

Students can pay the fees without fine till April 5 and till April 12 with a fine of Rs 20. The last date for fee payment with a fine of Rs 1,000 is April 18.

The equivalency course is for those who could not complete the higher secondary course or write the public examination. It is of two years duration. For more details, log on to www.dhsekerala.gov.in
