Ever since actor Dileep was arrested in connection with the actress attack case, the release of his movie Ramaleela directed by Arun Gopy was indefinitely delayed.
Now, after much confusion over it's release, the makers will bring the movie to the big screen on September 28, 2017.
Bankrolled by Tomichan Mulakupadam, under the banner Mulakupadam Films, the Dileep-starrer Ramaleela is beleieved to be a political thriller. Dileep plays the central character, Ramanunni, who is a politician.
Initially, Ramaleela was expected to hit the theaters on July 07, 2017 but later since Dileep wanted to clear the air about his alleged involvement in the case, the release was postponed.
The film, is expected to be a major break for Dileep from his usual comic roles.
Scripted by writer-director Sethu, the film has Prayaga Martin in the female lead role. Radhika Sarathkumar essays a pivotal role in the movie.
