Film buffs awaiting the release of Parava were excited when actors Dulquer Salmaan and Soubin Shahir jointly announced the DVD release date of the movie.
Taking to Instagram, the director of the movie Soubin wrote: For everyone who's been asking and requesting and waiting and almost thinking the day would never come, it's finally here!!! #Parava Blu-Ray, DVD & VCD will be available on all platforms such as Amazon, FlipKart & eBay from May 30th onwards!!!” (sic.)
But what raised eyebrows was one comment made on the post. It read, “Ante Vapakk kond koduk” which roughly translates as “Go and give to your father”. To this, Soubin replied “Kodukunund” (will be giving).
We rest our case here and give a toast to Soubin!
Meanwhile, the DVD of Parava, directorial debut of Soubin will release on May 30. Earlier, in a Facebook post, actor Dulquer Salmaan, who played a pivotal role in the movie, had asked viewers not to film intros, songs sequences or fight sequences . “I know it’s out of love and excitement. But it’s still as good as piracy when it’s spread all over the internet and social media. Once it’s out on DVD/Blu-Ray then it’s a different matter. No offence to anyone but kindly refrain from it.”
