Actress Sadhika Venugopal slammed those who send obscene comments to actresses on various social media platforms.
In a Facebook post she warned that she won't hesitate to react to online trollers and abusers.
"I 'humbly' request all those 'brothers' who lose their control when they see a woman not to support me on my page. Actresses, including me, survive by working hard just like the women in your family. To all those 'moralists' who judge us by our onscreen characters and the kind of clothes that we wear, i just want to say that behind this smiling face, there is indeed a courageous woman who knows how to react. I am a woman and would be a proud one until my death," writes Sadhika.
The actress concluded the Facebook post by saying that she deleted all the screen shots of the various obscene comments sent by social media users as she didn't wish to make any person a subject of online trolling. She also warned those who issue threats through phone calls by reminding them this was a cyber 'age'.
