Film maker Roshni Dinakar has filed a complaint with the Ernakulam range IG alleging that a collective attempt was taken by certain quarters to sabotage her latest movie ‘My Story’.
Earlier, Roshni, who is also the producer of the movie, had made allegations against actor Prithviraj, holding him responsible when the budget of the movie skyrocketed beyond her expectation. ‘My Story’ which released recently was made on a budget of 18 crore rupees and was shot extensively at various European locations,' she said.
Roshni alleged that some people have been trying to destroy her movie starring Prithviraj and Parvathy by spreading rumors on social media. She added that those who snubbed her movie were widely promoting the latest Anjali Menon directorial ‘Koode’ which features Prithviraj and Parvathy as well. In her complaint Roshni stated that people are spreading rumors about her movie without actually watching it.
‘My Story’ which was planned on a budget of 12 crore rupees escalated to 18 crore rupees as the filming progressed. Roshni had said that it happened as there were some changes in the dates allotted by actor Prithviraj.
She had earlier alleged that the audience’s grudge against Prithviraj and Parvathy had adversely affected her movie.
