On Saturday, Ranjini took to her social media page and posted a sweet wish for her mother on her birthday. "The center of my world. The pillar of my strength. My most valuable treasure in this whole wide Universe. I wouldn't be me if you weren't you...So Thank you !!! Love you to the moon and back. Happy Birthday, Ma!!!," (sic.)
Ranjini had lost her father at a very young age and it was her mother Sujatha who brought her up. She had very rarely spoken about her family on public platform, though earlier she had revealed that she was in a serious relationship with a director. She claimed she was cheated by him as he used her for mere publicity. Ranjini has not revealed his name till now. She had also said that she do not want to do a postmortem about the past and it was not that easy to get over but she definitely will move on.
