Check out Soul TV, a YouTube channel for hip-hop enthusiasts

Soul TV is a YouTube channel for breakdance and hip-hop jigs.

Anand NC, hailing from Thiruvananthapuram, is a breakdancer and hip-hop enthusiast who started his YouTube channel for breakdance and hip-hop jigs when he felt the urge to create and propagate the genre of art he is most passionate about.

The channel, Soul TV simply dope, promotes hip-hop scenes which include battles, cyphers and showcases happening in South India.

He is popular among the hip-hop, breakdance circles in Kerala as ‘B-boy Zylent'.

After his BTech in Computer Science and MBA in CET, Thiruvananthapuram, Anand started working as a Quality Engineer at TATA ELXSI, Thiruvananthapuram and the channel he created updated itself with almost every battle event that happens in the state.

Anand started his journey as 'B-boy Zylent' from 2012 and break-dancers in Thiruvananthapuram opened the door for him to find his true passion in life.

“Soul TV helped me in many ways like people know me by Soul TV than by my name and I am proud that I am known by my works,” says Anand and adds that because of Soul TV, he was able to work with different organizers and meet several national as well as international artists.

Anand or Zylent, as he prefers to call himself, is also part of a project to encourage girls who are interested in developing talent and compete in the hip-hop scene.
