It was the people who stood by me during difficulties: Nivin Pauly

Actor Nivin Pauly recently expressed that it was the people who stood by him during challenging times. "When a problem arose, it was the people who supported me," he said, deeply grateful for their love and backing. Nivin Pauly made these remarks during the 'Gokulam Night' event held in Nilambur.

“It’s been a long time since I stood in front of such a large crowd. My home is in Aluva, and Shivaratri Mahotsavam is celebrated there. This festival, along with the local shops, reminds me of home. During the 2018 floods, my entire house was submerged. Eventually, I had to renovate the house. While doing so, I wished to use teak wood from Nilambur. So, I came here and obtained timber from the depot. Now, the trees from Nilambur are part of my home,” he shared.

Speaking about the challenges he has faced, Nivin continued, “The recent issues involving me are well known. After those problems, I stayed away from public events. Gopalan Chettan has always been like a mentor and elder to me. That’s why, when he called me, I rushed here. During my difficulties, it was the people who stood by me. I haven’t had the chance to thank you all, and this stage is for that purpose. This year, I will return with good films, and I believe the encouragement and love will continue.”
