Gokul shows me the same respect he has for his father: Mammootty

Mammootty recently spoke warmly about Gokul Suresh, the son of actor Suresh Gopi, who is also his co-star in the recently released 'Dominic and the Ladies' Purse'. Having previously worked with Gokul's father, Mammootty shared that Gokul shows him the same respect that he has for his father. He recalled that whenever Gokul would see him on set, he would get up to show respect. However, Mammootty would tell him not to do so, explaining that, as co-actors, there was no need for such formalities.

Mammootty emphasized that he had asked Gokul to treat him casually, and Gokul performed exceptionally well in their scenes. According to Mammootty, their on-screen combination worked perfectly, and there were no difficulties in their collaboration. He also mentioned that Gokul was visibly excited to share screen space with him, and that excitement reflected in the movie. Mammootty further revealed that Gokul had been given a new bike to use for his role in the film.

The movie, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon follows the intriguing events in the life of a private detective. The combination scenes between Mammootty and Gokul stood out and were especially appreciated by the audience.
