Speaking in an emotional video, Bala said he felt compelled to clarify matters despite not knowing how to put it into words.

Actor Bala has responded to allegations made by his former partner, Dr. Elizabeth Udayan, firmly stating that he has never assaulted anyone and asking that his wife Kokila and their family be left in peace.
Speaking in an emotional video, Bala said he felt compelled to clarify matters despite not knowing how to put it into words. “All these years I have loved you all. I still do. Yet people continue to misunderstand me. My heart is full of pain,” he said, adding that he recently underwent treatment after a liver transplant.

Bala shared that at 41 he finally found a family life he cherishes and takes good care of Kokila. “Why trouble that life?” he asked, stressing that neither he nor his family has harassed Elizabeth. According to him, “She needs medical attention, not media attention.”

He recalled how he had already approached the court months ago, asking to end the harassment. “She never showed up, but they continue to trouble Kokila and our family,” Bala said. “I swear to God, I have never harmed anyone.”

Requesting privacy, he added, “Don’t spread lies. Please leave us alone. What may seem like entertainment for some would be unbearable for us, especially if we have children in the future.” Bala also mentioned stopping Kokila’s cooking channel on YouTube because of the strain caused by the allegations.
“I’m speaking from my heart. Bala is not a liar, and my family is not bad. We have lived on what we earned through cinema,” he said, urging the media and others to show restraint. “Let her live peacefully; she needs treatment, not headlines.”
