From ‘Ronth’ to ‘Samshayam’: Know where to watch these latest OTT releases

The weekend is here, and with it come a number of new and highly anticipated releases. From English to Malayalam, here’s a list of films you need to watch this weekend.

‘Samshayam’
This Vinay Forrt and Sharafudheen-starrer is based on an intriguing idea revolving around a person who is consumed by doubt and goes to any extent to get to the bottom of it. The movie is directed by Rajesh Ravi and also features Vinay Forrt as Manoj and Lijomol who plays his wife Vimala. Sharafudheen essays the role of Harris, yet another central character in the film. The film was appreciated for its compelling storytelling and the performances of the actors.

Sarzameen
The film marks Prithviraj and Kajol’s first collaboration together. ‘Sarzameen’ directed by Kayoze Irani and bankrolled by Karan Johar’s production house Dharma Productions is a military drama that also features Ibrahim Khan in his sophomore work. Prithviraj plays an army officer who is willing to take risks to free Kashmir from terrorists.

‘Ronth’
The film is directed by Shahi Kabeer, known for helming films like ‘Elaveezhapoonchira’ and ‘Officer on Duty’, while he has also written the screenplay for movies like ‘Joseph’ and ‘Nayattu’. Ronth features Dileesh Pothen and Roshan Mathew in pivotal roles as they play two police officers in different ranks who are on night-patrol duties.

‘Mandala Murders’
