Mazhavil Entertainment Awards 2025: Rehearsal Camp Kicks Off

The Mazhavil Entertainment Awards 2025, organised by Mazhavil Manorama is all set to take place at the Adlux International Convention Centre in Angamaly on August 17. Malabar Gold and Diamonds is the title sponsor for the event. The rehearsal camp began at the Kochi Marriott Hotel on Tuesday, ahead of the grand show. Evergreen actor Sheela and veteran director Joshiy, who were the chief guests at the function, lit the lamp, along with actors Kottayam Nazeer, Edavela Babu, and Sarayu.

P R Satheesh, CEO, MMTV Ltd, announced the participation of numerous artists from the industry and said the event is expected to be held on a grand scale, much like in previous years. The rehearsals for the event will continue until August 16.

The star-studded celebration will feature a wide range of performances, including skits, comedy acts, and dance numbers. Among the prominent names attending are actors Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram, Kunchacko Boban, Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Basil Joseph, Prakash Varma, and Anurag Kashyap.

Suraj Venjaramoodu, Shane Nigam, Honey Rose, Govind Padmasoorya, Bindu Panicker, Vijayaraghavan, Surabhi Lakshmi, Janardhanan, Jagadeesh, Jithin Laal, Binu Pappu, Lijomol Jose, Navya Nair, Johny Antony, Madonna Sebastian, Ananya, Anarkali Marakkar, Vinay Fort, Nikhila Vimal, Swasika, and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy as well as debutants Priyamvada Krishnan and Raniya Raana, are among the participants. Awards will be presented in 23 categories during the event, which will be telecast on Mazhavil Manorama on August 30 and 31. It will also be available for streaming on Manorama Max.
