Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan are reuniting after 18 years in ace director Priyadarshan’s film ‘Haiwaan’. This reunion is sure to excite 90s kids, as the popular duo will be seen together once again on the big screen. The film began shooting in Kochi on Saturday.
Akshay took to his Instagram, and shared a BTS video in which he and Saif can be seen casually talking with director Priyadarshan. The film marks Saif and Akshay’s reunion after 18 years, the two last worked together in ‘Tashan’, which was a commercial and critical disaster.
The film is produced under the banners of KVN Productions and Thespian Films. Known for delivering several fun-filled entertainers in Bollywood, Priyadarshan is now returning with what is tipped to be a high-octane thriller.
Following its Kochi schedule, the film's next locations include Vagamon, Ooty and Mumbai. 'Haiwaan' marks Priyadarshan's return to filming after 'Bhoot Bangla', which is currently in post-production. His most recent theatrical release was 'Appatha'.
Saif, who sustained knife injuries at his Bandra house in January this year, is back to working on film sets. The actor was stabbed multiple times in an attempt to fight off a burglar during the wee hours of Thursday.
