Actor Akshay Kumar who is in Kerala for the shoot of ace director Priyadarshan’s film ‘Haiwaan’ visited the Guruvayur temple on Monday. Visuals of the popular actor wearing an angavastram and mundu as he arrives at the temple have gone viral on social media. The actor’s helicopter landed at the helipad of the Sree Krishna College in Guruvayur.
There, he interacted with the people gathered in the area and even posed for photos, as per reports. The actor was accompanied by his security personnel and was welcomed by Guruvayur Devaswom Board Member K S Balagopal and Guruvayur Devaswom administrator O B Arun Kumar.
Akshay known for his action and commercial films, is reuniting with Saif Ali Khan in ‘Haiwaan’ nearly after two decades. The two were last seen in the 2008 film ‘Tashan’. ‘Haiwaan’, which is a big-budget production, is an adaptation of the 2016 hit Mollywood film ‘Oppam’ starriing Mohanlal. Priyadarshan, in an earlier interview with Onmanorama said there are plenty of changes which have been incorporated in the film, which has been envisioned in a large scale. The first schedule of the film began in Kochi two weeks ago.
