Suriya sir and Jyothika ma’am said the film was superb: Naslen on 'Lokah' success

Actor Naslen revealed that Suriya and Jyothika personally reached out to congratulate him after watching ‘Lokah’. Speaking at the film’s success meet, Naslen said the star couple video-called him and praised the film, calling it “superb.”

“I don’t know what to say, so many things are happening in my life right now. This morning, Suriya sir and Jyothika ma’am video-called me and told me the film was superb. I feel truly blessed and happy with the love I am receiving,” Naslen shared.

Kalyani Priyadarshan, who plays the lead, admitted she too hadn’t expected such an overwhelming reception. “I never thought ‘Lokah’ would be embraced with this much love. There are so many people I want to thank, and I am deeply grateful to everyone,” she said.

Directed by Dominic Arun and headlined by Kalyani Priyadarshan, ‘Lokah’ has broken several records in Malayalam cinema. On its seventh day, the film entered the 100-crore club, becoming the third-fastest Malayalam movie to achieve the milestone and the twelfth overall to cross it. The box office success of a women-centric South Indian film is being hailed as a rare achievement.

Made on a budget of around ₹30 crore, ‘Lokah’ is produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films and marks the banner’s seventh production.
