Nivin Pauly joins hands with B Unnikrishnan for big-budget political drama

Director B Unnikrishnan and actor Nivin Pauly are joining forces for a high-budget political drama that recently went on floors in Thiruvananthapuram. The film is jointly produced by Sree Gokulam Movies and RD Illuminations LLP. Headlined by Nivin Pauly, the film boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including Balachandra Menon, Sabitha Anand, Ann Augustine, Harisree Ashokan, Nishant Sagar, Sharafudeen, Saikumar, and Maniyanpillai Raju. Newcomer Neethu Krishna has been cast as the female lead.

The launch ceremony saw executive producer Krishna Moorthy giving the first clap, while Durga Unnikrishnan performed the switch-on. The event was attended by Producers Association President B Rakesh, industry veterans like Suresh Kumar and Sandeep Senan, and filmmakers G S Vijayan, Ajay Vasudev, and Darwin Kuriakose.

Principal photography will primarily take place in Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi. The film is produced by Baiju Gopalan and V.C. Praveen, with Krishna Moorthy and Durga Unnikrishnan serving as executive producers. Behind the camera, Chandru Selvaraj handles cinematography, while Justin Varghese composes the music. Editing is by Manoj C S, with production design by Shaji Naduvil. The production controller is Aroma Mohan, and Aji Kuriani takes charge as art director. Ronex Xavior is in charge of makeup, and Siji Thomas designs the costumes.

The direction team includes chief associate director Shaji Padoor and associate director Sugeesh S.G. Stills are by Amal James, and Yellow Tooth is responsible for the design elements. Public relations and marketing are managed by Content Factory, with Satheesh Eriyalath as the PRO.
