Shobana’s playful post leaves fans guessing over ‘Thalapathi’ artwork

Shobana gave her fans a fun challenge on social media. On her official page, she shared a painting along with a playful question. The artwork recreated a classic frame from the film ‘Thalapathi’. Alongside it, she asked her followers if they could guess who created the painting, even dropping a few clues about the artist.

“The painting is by someone who is an actress, a friend, a director, a cinematographer, and a social activist. Can you tell who it is?” Shobana wrote. The image depicted a young woman sitting by the riverside, strumming the tambura and singing, as a young man watches her. Shobana also hinted that fans could try identifying the characters in the frame.

Many followers quickly pointed out that the figures were Shobana and Rajinikanth from ‘Thalapathi’. But the guesses about the painter varied widely. Some thought Shobana had painted it herself, while others speculated it could be Revathi or Suhasini.

Eventually, Shobana stepped in to reveal the correct answer in the comments section. She clarified that the digital artwork was created by Suhasini. Shobana also shared a short note about her friend, writing: “This was painted by none other than Suhasini! She was the first woman to graduate in cinematography after joining the Madras Film Institute to study camera work.”

Her post and the big reveal soon became a talking point among fans.
