Kochi: Actor Ajmal Amir has dismissed the sexual allegations raised against him, claiming that the viral WhatsApp call attributed to him is fake. In a video statement, the actor said the voice in the clip was created using artificial intelligence and that such accusations cannot ruin his career. He also expressed gratitude to those who supported him on social media.

“A fabricated story or an AI-generated voice imitation cannot destroy me or my career. Even in the past, I have faced bigger allegations, proven them false, and moved forward solely with divine grace. I don’t have a manager or a PR team. I still use the same social media account my fans started for me long ago. However, from now on, I will personally handle all content and updates,” Ajmal said.

The actor thanked everyone who stood by him online. “Seeing the compassion and concern shown by social media users, even among those who posted insulting comments, has earned my respect. The comforting messages and calls I received amidst all the abuses gave me the strength to stay strong,” he added.

Ajmal, who made his acting debut in the 2007 film ‘Pranayakalam’, rose to fame with the song ‘Oru Vennal Puzhayil’. The alleged video call featuring the actor was released through an Instagram page named ‘Ente Cassette’.
