Megastar Mammootty who returned to acting after a short break, is currently in the UK for the shoot of Mahesh Narayanan’s film ‘Patriot’. A video of Mammootty arriving in a red Range Rover wearing a stylish black jacket and cooling glass, has already gone viral. Fans are excited to see their favourite actor looking more energetic than before.
In the video, Mammootty can be seen reading the script and also clicking photos of his colleagues on the sets. Mahesh Narayanan and ‘Aattam’ fame Zarin Shihab are also seen in the video. The Mahesh Narayanan directorial went on the floors last year, and features some of the big names from the Mollywood industry. Mohanlal is also set to play a prominent role in the movie, which marks the reunion of both superstars after a long hiatus. The two were last seen together in the 2013 film ‘Kadal Kadannu Oru Mathukutty’.
The makers released the title of the film on October 2 and also shared a teaser, which already generated a lot of buzz. Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil, Revathy and Parvathy Thiruvothu. The teaser hints Mammootty and Mohanlal’s characters' joining forces against a powerful mafia that is trying to launch a dangerous software in India.
Despite Mammootty’s brief hiatus from the industry, director Mahesh Narayanan has assured that filming is progressing nearly as planned, with the majority of scenes already completed.
