The team behind director Akhil Sathyan’s much-anticipated fantasy comedy, ‘Sarvam Maya’, treated fans on Saturday to a lively Behind The Scenes video packed with candid moments from the sets. Fire Fly Films, the banner backing the film, shared the clip on Instagram with the caption: “Catching the unscripted magic of Nivin Pauly…!!! ‘Sarvam Maya’ in theatres from 25th December.”

The clip ends on a humorous note, showing a visibly tired yet amused Nivin joking about how the team refused to let him leave despite repeatedly promising to wrap up on time. “They said I could go at five. Then it became six, then seven… now it’s eight,” he laughs as the video cuts out.
Earlier this month, the makers announced that filming had officially wrapped. Nivin marked the moment on X, writing, “It’s a WRAP. Get ready to go ‘Delulu’ in theatres this Christmas. ‘Sarvam Maya’.”
A recently released teaser has further fuelled the excitement. It shows Nivin Pauly cautiously checking every room in a traditional house on a stormy night — peering under beds, scanning ceilings and opening cupboards — reassuring himself with a quick “Okay” each time. The teaser also features a sunny, light-hearted moment between Nivin and Aju Varghese the next morning.
For those catching up, Nivin leads Akhil Sathyan’s upcoming horror-comedy ‘Sarvam Maya’, set for a Christmas release. Priety Mukundhan, who recently won praise for her performance in the pan-India film ‘Kannappa’, plays the female lead. Aju Varghese also appears in a key role.
Sources had earlier shared that the team shot for nearly 30 days, with major schedules held in Ernakulam and Palakkad. Directed by Akhil Sathyan — son of veteran filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad — the film follows his previous critically lauded work ‘Paachuvum Albhuthavilakkum’.
‘Sarvam Maya’ features music by Justin Prabhakaran, production design by seasoned art director Rajeevan, and cinematography by Sharan Velayudhan Nair, known for his work in the acclaimed ‘Sookshmadarshini’.
