Thrissur dialect has often brought brownie points to Malayalam stars and films. Be it Mohanlal's Jayakrishnan in Thoovanathumbikal or Mammootty's Pranchiyettan in Pranchiyettan and the Saint, the Thrissur dialect of Malayalam remains a trademark of the classic characters.
Now lovers of Malayalam films can wait to see if youth icon Dulquer could repeat such a show on screen with the flexibility of handling the dialect with its unique tone.
Dulquer is all set to play a Thrissur fellow in veteran filmmaker Sathyan Anthikkad's next directorial venture.
Mukesh will be seen as Dulquer's father in the film which centres around the relation between a father and son.
This is the first time Mukesh is sharing screen space with Dulquer. The pre-production works of the film have already started. The shoot will strt in July. Thrissur will be the major location.
