Nitin Renji Panicker, son of filmmaker-turned-artist Renji Panicker, who is making his directorial debut with the Mammootty-starrer Kasaba, on Thursday said that the trolling on the first look poster of the film helped it reach a wider audience. Talking to Onmanorama, he said that he was nothing but happy that people liked it.
The trolls on the first look poster of the film Kasaba has been the most torrential in the recent times. Trolls had a go at the poster and the poster went viral. Even Mammotty, the hero of the film, saw the funny side and shared a number of the posters made by trolls on his Facebook page.

However, Nitin said said that he has not spoken to Mammootty yet about it. By sharing them on his Facebook page, Mammooty showed that he was not against the trolls, Nitin said.
To a query whether the visual in the poster, in which Mammootty is seen in police uniform and seated before a jeep with his arms spread, will be there in the film, Nitish replied that one should wait and watch. According to the crew of the film, which is set to release in July, is a suspense-thriller.
