Vineeth's paradise

Vineeth Sreenivasan is one such director who seems to know the pulse of the youngsters, and going by the successful run of movies like Malarvadi Arts Club, Thattathin Marayath and Thira, his concepts and lead actors are widely accepted in tinsel town. In a recent interview Vineeth is quoted, “Each time I make a film its like opening a fresh textbook” and with Jacobinte Swargarajyam, the filmaker for the very first time is dealing with a familial theme. It already sounds like the perfect treat for Vishu, doesn't it?

Nivin's paradise

Nivin Pauly, the heart-throb of Malayalam cinema is on a roll. The actor's journey in the industry can be best described as a gradual yet stunning growth. Going by the box office success his movies are making this season, his reputation and fan base have both grown at tremendous pace not just in Kerala but also in Tamil Nadu. After playing a lover boy's role in Premam and being a cop in 'Action Hero Biju', Jacobinte Swargarajyam will see Nivin Pauly as a family-oriented youngster, straying away from his usual style.

Fresh faces in the paradise

Jacobinte Swargarajyam will mark the debut of a number of fresh faces including Reba John, Aima, Stacen and Ashwin K Kumar. While Reba's chemistry with Nivin is much anticipated, Ashwin's performance has high expectations riding on it, as he has replaced Gautham Menon who was initially roped in for the movie.

A twist in the paradise

For Jacobinte Swargarajyam, Vineeth devoted around one and a half years for scripting alone. All the scripts the he has written are based in Thalassery in one or the other way, but this time, it is a completely different venue—the dreamy Dubai, with mesmerising cinematography by State Award winner Jomon T Jomon. Taking a piece from real life, Jacobinte Swargarajyam that narrates the story of a non-resident Keralite, is based on a real-life incident that occurred in the family of a friend of Vineeth.

So there you have it. What other reasons do you need to make plans for the movie? Give it a go!
