Producers' awards: Prithviraj, Jayasurya share best actor gong

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Film Producers' Association announced its awards for 2015 here on Saturday, with Prithviraj-starrer Ennu Ninte Moideen winning the award for best film.

Jayaraj bagged the gong for best director for Ottal, which won several awards at international film festivals.

Prithviraj (Ennu Ninte Moideen and Ivide) and Jayasurya (Su.. Su... Sudhi Valmeekam) shared the honour for best actor, while Parvathy bagged the award for best actress for her performances in Ennu Ninte Moideen and Charlie.

R.S. Vimal, who helmed Ennu Ninte Moideen, won the award for best debutant director.

Parvathy bagged the award for best actress for her performances in 'Ennu Ninte Moideen' and 'Charlie'.

Through Ennu Ninte Moideen Benoy Sankarath and Suresh Raj bagged the award for best producers.

Those who won the awards for best film, director, actor and actress will get Rs 1 lakh each. Other awards carry a purse of Rs 50,000 each.

The awards will be distributed at the Atlas convention centre in Angamaly on April 13. Director Bhadran was the chairman of the award jury.
