Tabu has reportedly replaced Vidya Balan in the much-talked Kamala Das biopic.
Vidya Balan was director Kamal's first choice to essay the role of Malayalam's favorite poetess-feminist, Kamala Surayya, aka Madhavikutty, in his most ambitious project - Aami.
Director Kamal said Vidya Balan was his only choice to play Madhavikutty in his upcoming biopic. When Kamal revealed his choice, movie fans were excited. Vidya Balan seemed apt to play Kamala Surayya. The actor’s first-look photos went viral.
